BRONZE

Bill McKinnon and Vicki live in Ohio United States . He was 55 when he was diagnosed in May, 2008. His initial PSA was 1.92 ng/ml, his Gleason Score was 6 and he was staged T2a. His choice of treatment was Surgery. Here is his story.

Dad was diagnosed at age 62. He died at age 63 ½ I've been getting checked since age 50. PSA was very low, 1.92, however on DRE family doc felt something. Sent me to specialist who did ultra-sound and biopsy.

Four of six samples came back positive for cancer. I had a Radical Prostatectomy in June '08. Margins and Lymph nodes clear and blood tests since have PSA at 0.02. Doc calls that undetectable.

I have experienced problems with bladder control and ED but I am working on both with exercise and the docs help.

Bill's e-mail address is: bmckinno@columbus.rr.com
